If your lifestyle doesn't control your body, eventually your body will control your lifestyle. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

Don't let pain keep you from doing the things you enjoy. We find that most chronic pain is due to some long term postural deviation. You can change your posture and dissolve your pain.

ABOUT NASHVILLE NEUROMUSCULAR CARE

Nashville Neuromuscular Care (formerly known as Nashville Neuromuscular Center) was founded by Rebecca Saindon in 1994. NNC provides Clinical Bodywork, Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, Neurokinetic Therapy, and Posture Corrective Movement. The sessions are always designed for your unique body and situation and always focus on Relieving Pain and Restoring Posture and Movement.

Angie Gray became the owner of NNC in 2020. She is trained in corrective exercise to enhance the manual work with movement therapy. NNC is about permanent problem-solving, not chasing the pain. Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is different from relaxation massage or deep tissue massage. The people we see have specific pain issues. The treatments provided by NNC draw from a wide variety of bodywork techniques which are integrated under the moniker of our core name 'Neuromuscular' or more accurately 'Neuro-Myo-Fascial Therapy.'  If you get regular massage work and it feels great, but the same pain keeps coming back, then you might want to give us a try. We're not interested in having our clients be dependent on us week after week to keep their same old pains at bay. We want to resolve the source of that pain, so it is no longer an issue. While we strive to educate and help our clients know how to help themselves, once that pain issue has been resolved, we can send you back to your regular massage therapist, or you may choose to continue with us for a regular schedule of maintenance on a monthly, quarterly, or 'as needed' basis, knowing these regular tune ups will help prevent future injury and give a better understanding of the musculoskeletal system and biomechanics.

WHAT MAKES NASHVILLE NEUROMUSCULAR CARE DIFFERENT?

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy begins with a thorough assessment of the client's individual posture, history, and movement patterns. Without assessment a therapist is simply guessing and treating the symptoms. Using this information, your NNC therapist designs a plan which includes clinical bodywork and movement homework to address and correct the imbalances which have been revealed. The movement piece is an important part of rehab. We recognize that therapeutic massage alone is not enough to create permanent change. Specific and precise strengthening is a key element in the process of relieving pain and restoring posture.

Angie has been Certified as Corrective Exercise and Posture Alignment Specialist, learning from exercise leaders like NASM, Dr. Steven Weiniger, and Brent Brookbush to ensure the knowledge necessary to be working within this scope of practice. We offer a precise targeting of the trouble areas to correct asymmetrical movements, which are to be done on a temporary basis until the change has been realized and your pain is resolved. Then we send you off to workout in whatever modality you prefer, armed with tips on how to make it work for your unique structure.

NNC approaches their work from a whole body perspective, not just working on a localized pain. NNC is committed to providing excellent care. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate your ability to attain the most efficient body posture to maximize pain-free movement patterns and to educate you about how to maintain, without being dependent of any particular therapist or modality week after week to keep you functioning well.  Nashville Neuromuscular Care's therapist is constantly evolving and striving to maintain a true level of expertise. Angie produce results as can be witnessed in the pages of our client testimonials.
